There are few celebrations that Americans look forward to, more than Super Bowl Sunday.
And while the love for the game, or your team, or the commercials are the obvious reasons… for many, including me, it’s all about the food!
Believe it or not, Super Bowl Sunday is the second-largest food holiday, after Thanksgiving! It’s also the most popular television event of the year. Although This Is Us may give the Super Bowl a little competition this year.
Sadly for me, I didn’t have the foresight to start my Whole30 adventure so it ended BEFORE Super Bowl Sunday. I’ll be on day 28! But I certainly don’t want you to miss out on all of the fabulous Super Bowl Food. Whether you’re hosting or need to bring a dish or just celebrating at home like Rebecca and Jack, following are my top ten, tried and true Game Day recipes.
Kick off the party with a cheesy dip and deviled eggs!
Pepperoni Pizza Dip
Smoked Gouda and Bacon Deviled Eggs
It’s just not a Super Bowl Party unless there’s food in the shape of a football.
Game Day Fiesta Flats
It’s also not a Super Bowl Party without Buffalo something.
Buffalo Cauliflower Bites
Buffalo Chicken Empanadas
No Super Bowl party is complete without chili. Loose the bowl and serve it with lots of toppings and an extra helping of cheese then wrap it up in a tortilla for a game changing burrito.
Cheesy Chili Burritos
Who doesn’t love dough? Especially when it’s stuffed with delicious ingredients. Make these ahead of time and bake just before kick-off. Can’t decide which to make? Make both!
