This recipe for Pecan Pie Christmas Crack is addicting on so many levels. It’s ridiculously easy to make, and it’s even easier to eat. If you’re a fan of pecan tassies but don’t like fussy recipes, like me, this recipes gives you that pecan tassie taste without all of the work.
I do a lot of holiday baking and was looking to switch up my cookie menu this year. Since I do so much baking and some of the recipes are time consuming, I always look to add a recipe or two that’s super easy, but also delicious. This Christmas Crack recipe uses just 5 ingredients and you can literally have it done in less than 30 minutes.
Once it comes out of the oven, cool it, crack it, store it. Perfect add to your cookies trays or for snacking and gifting.
- About 20 graham crackers
- 1 cup dairy or plant butter
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 ½ to 2 cups chopped pecans (depends on how nutty you like it)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Preheat oven to 350 degrees and line a baking sheet with foil and spray with nonstick cooking spray.

Arrange graham crackers on baking sheet. (Break crackers in half to fill in spaces.)

Add butter and brown sugar to saucepan, bring to a boil and boil 2 minutes stirring often.

Stir in pecans and vanilla. Evenly spread mixture over graham crackers.

Bake 10 minutes or until bubbling. Cool completely, then break into pieces.

You can top this with mini chocolate chips as soon as it comes out of the oven or drizzle it with melted chocolate.
