During our vacation to Prague last spring, I drank a fair amount of Aperol Spritzes to balance out my beer consumption. They were light, refreshing and just fun to drink. I particularly liked the big glass that they were always served in. Because you know, a good cocktail is all about the glass. The Spritz became my go-to summer drink for the reasons above and because they’re super easy to make. But like all good things, summer ended and it was time to move on.
But, I like to find ways to hang on to summer even just a little but. Thus, the Maple Bourbon Aperol Spritz. This Spritz combines summer and fall in an easy and delicious cocktail. I developed this easy fall cocktail recipe for Maple Grove Farms. This Aperol Spritz recipe incorporates the summer flavors of aperol and orange into a comforting fall cocktail by adding bourbon and Maple Grove Farms Real Maple Syrup. Topping it off with Prosecco works for every season. This Maple Bourbon Aperol Spritz is perfect for cozy nights by the fire and festive enough to take you right through the holiday season.
