This recipe for a spooktacular Graveyard Riced Veggie Dip, that I developed for Green Giant, looks so adorable and impressive but it’s easier than ever to make! It’s a great recipe to let the kids help out with, although you’ll enjoy decorating it yourself. See the notes below the recipe for decorating ideas.
Loaded with cheesy flavor and lots of veggies it tastes delicious. Serve with crackers or veggies to scoop up the goodness.
I really had so much fun decorating this dip, I wished I had a bigger dish! If you’re having a crowd, make a double batch and use a larger shallow baking dish to give you even more room to decorate.
This dip looks almost too good to eat, but it tastes so good it will be the hit of the party for sure.
- 1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese , softened
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 3/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 (12-ounce) package Green Giant® Riced Cauliflower & Broccoli or Riced Broccoli, thawed and drained
- 1 ½ cups shredded cheddar cheese divided
- 1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- Assorted garnishes for decorating
-
Preheat oven to 400°F. Combine all ingredients except ¼ cup shredded cheddar in shallow 1-1/2 quart baking dish.
-
Bake 15 minutes; sprinkle with remaining cheese. Bake 5 minutes or until hot and bubbling.
-
Decorate top to look like a graveyard. See suggestions below.
- Bake this dip in a large shallow baking dish to allow for maximum surface area to decorate as a graveyard.
- Use a food-safe marker to draw on crackers to create “tombstones”.
- Melba toast or any oval or rectangle shaped cracker will work as a tombstone.
- To make trees, use green onions, kale, broccoli, broccoli rabe or celery leaves.
- Use chopped back olives for “dirt”.
- Used shredded lettuce for “grass”.
- Let the kids pitch in and let your imagination go. The decorating possibilities are endless.
