Careful, these seasoned sweet potato fries can be addicting. Just one bite and you’ll be hooked. Chipotle chili powder and cumin add just the right amount of spice and smoke to complement the natural sweetness of the potato.
You’ll love the fabulous flavor of these fries, but you’ll love them even more because they’re baked, not fried.
Serve them on their own or whip up a little honey lime sauce for dipping. Sweetened with a touch of honey, it has a nice tang from the yogurt and lime juice. The sweet-tart flavor is the ideal accompaniment for the perfectly spiced, smoky fries.

Ingredients
- 1 can Chef’s Joy Butter Flavor Non-Stick Cooking Spray
- 2 pounds sweet potatoes , peeled and cut into 1/4-inch pieces
- 1 teaspoon chipotle chili powder
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 clove garlic , crushed
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup plain nonfat Greek yogurt
- 2 tablespoon mayonnaise
- 2 teaspoon fresh lime juice
- 1 teaspoon honey
- 1/4 teaspoon grated lime zest
- 1/4 teaspoon paprika
Instructions

Preheat oven to 425ºF. Spray large baking sheet with Chef's Joy spray.

Toss sweet potato with chipotle chili powder, cumin, garlic and salt. Spread evenly on pan so potatoes are in a single layer. (If potatoes are too crowded, use 2 baking sheets.) Spray evenly with Chef's Joy spray.

Bake 30 minutes turning over halfway through cooking, until potatoes are crisp and beginning to brown.

Combine yogurt, mayonnaise, lime juice, honey, lime zest and paprika in a small bowl. Serve fries with dipping sauce.
