If you want to make dad feel extra special this Father’s Day, you’re gonna want to have my Bacon, Egg and Cheese Burger recipe on the menu! It’s a breakfast fit for your king – just add a Bloody Mary or two! If dad prefers to sleep in, just make these for brunch or dinner and serve with an ice cold beer.
I developed this recipe for Beemster, which is by far the ultimate Gouda cheese. With only 5 ingredients, this recipe is so simple to make. Even the kids can help with this one. Let them grate the cheese, toast the muffins and cook the bacon in the microwave.
A juicy burger topped of with crisp bacon and a fried egg, this is truly the ultimate comfort food. Plenty of Beemster cheese makes it extra special — if you can’t find the Vlaskaas variety, any Beemster Gouda will get the job done.

- 2 cups shredded Beemster Vlaskaas
- 4 prepared hamburger patties
- 8 slices bacon , cooked
- 4 large eggs , fried
